nooooooooooooooooooo

So Fox has cancelled Arrested Development just as I was getting into it. It's a fucking tight show, and now it's gone. At least there's still the DVDs.

Considering Scrubs doesn't appear to be getting back on the schedule anytime soon (and FilmFakers is LONG gone), I'm just about ready to declare that my Tivo season passes are like teeny thumbed-up kisses of death (or, at least warm, encompassing hugs of hiatus).

I'm looking at you next, The Office. Your producers should just lie down in their office doorways right now and wait for NBC security guards to throw their limp, lifeless bodies off the studio lot.

At least they are getting rid of 7th Heaven although I have a feeling they will continue to run it after the Gilmore Girls, thus preserving the risk that I may catch a few seconds of it before I change the channel.

All I know about the Gilmore Girls is that the dad from "Ri¢hie Ri¢h" is in it. Who has also been lots of other stuff, including (not surprisingly) "Law and Order" (on which I assume he played a killer whose arrest was accompanied by a sarcstic comment).

Where have you gone, Lenny Briscoe? A nation turns its lonely eyes to you...

I also just started watching Arrested Development this season, and it's freakin' hilarious. Why would they cancel a show with TWO new viewers? Why? WHY????

Maybe we're not the demographic they were trying (and failing) to target; i.e., we're not douchebags (or, at least, we're not not non-douchebags).
